We are looking for Systems Engineers responsible for designing and supervising design processes, with experience and knowledge in structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, radio-navigation systems, onboard equipment, interiors, and stability of watercraft. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and verifying work, as well as evaluating the quality of design solutions to ensure that the project meets client requirements, classification regulations, and applicable quality and regulatory standards.

About a role:
You have a holistic view of the vessel, understand how propulsion, fuel, automation, and navigation systems work together. You have broad shipbuilding knowledge, experience in designing technical systems, and want to shape high-quality maritime projects.
Key accountabilities
- Designing and supervising structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, radio-navigation systems, onboard equipment, and interiors of vessels to ensure that designs comply with client requirements, classification regulations, and quality and regulatory standards.
- Creating design solutions that address complex and unique problems, requiring the integration of knowledge from various engineering fields, interpreting client requirements, classification standards, and implementing design solutions in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.
- Solving interdisciplinary engineering problems, assessing technical risks, and optimizing solutions in terms of cost, functionality, safety, and compliance with classification regulations.
- Performing, supervising, and verifying design calculations: class, mass, power and heat balances, stability and structural analyses.
- Creating and approving functional descriptions of systems. Developing lists, registers, summaries, documents, and technical reports. Creating and supervising 3D models of floating units: mechanical and electrical systems, technical spaces, stability and strength models.
- Preparing test plans (FAT, HAT, SAT).
Skills & experience
- Higher technical education (preferred: shipbuilding, marine engineering, mechanics).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ship/offshore systems projects.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools, MS Project.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
- Independence in making design and technical decisions.
- Up-to-date knowledge and openness to acquiring knowledge beyond the scope.
- Good command of the English language at B2 level (written and verbal);
