Sales Director, Poznań – remote

For our fast growing client from Poznań – diamond partner of Austrian steel manufacturer, providing the highest quality steel products durostat, alform and aldur, we are now looking for experienced

Sales Director to lead the sales team and build the strategy.

The company has been operating since 2016. It is active throughout Poland, Eastern Europe, Baltics, Eastern Germany and Scandinavia consistently expanding its market presence. Its goal is to establish a stable distribution network of special steel and prefabricated steel components in CEE and Scandinavia.

Responsibility:

  • Providing overall leadership to the client’s company’s sales team
  • Building and executing sales strategy in line with the company’s vision set by the board
  • Setting ambitious sales goals and inspiring the sales team to deliver results
  • Monitoring execution of budgets and forecasts and applying corrective actions as necessary
  • Running weekly sales meetings
  • Setting and control of an overall pricing strategy
  • Attending periodic key customer meetings
  • Implementing and managing a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Performing sales data-driven analysis and deriving action-generating insights
  • Implementation and management of online sales channel (webshop)

 What we expect from an ideal candidate:  

  • Master’s degree in a technical or business field
  • Experience of working in the steel industry
  • Min. 5 year of experience in sales
  • Excellent understanding of business commercial acumen
  • Advanced command of English language, communicative level of Russian is also a preference
  • High IT literacy and understanding of system and data management practices
  • Proficiency in command of Office/Google documents
  • Highly analytical mindset with an ability to understand big picture
  • Excellent team player with an ability to lead and motivate sales teams
  • Ability to design, improvement and implementation of sales business models, processes and systems
  • Success-oriented attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to the growth of the organization
  • Ease of building long term relationships with all stakeholders
  • Outstanding time management skills, self-discipline and accountability for  delivering results
  • Ability to work fully remotely with a significant amount of travel involved
