Our Client is an international company with a headquater based in London. A Project Manager is required to manage project activity throughout the group. The role will be predominantly based in Gdansk. However, there may be a requirement for some travel.
Main responsibilities include:
Project Facilitation and Management:
- Set up and manage company projects on the company’s project management system. Work with the relevant stakeholders to establish projects’ timelines, task allocations and commercial fundamentals.
- Be the ‘operational’ focal point for all project issues, judging when it is necessary to consult or escalate particular issues to the local Project Management Team Lead or other stakeholders.
- Manage time, costs, safety and quality for all projects.
- Ensure product specifications are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with local and external team members to set realistic deadlines and be accountable for the successful completion of tasks.
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate information and ensure all project stakeholders are aware of roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and address issues, problems, risks and opportunities, managing multiple tasks at any given time.
- Assist others to plan and prioritise their workloads.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing and operations teams to support business planning tasks.
- Implement and follow risk management, ensuring the local Project Management Team Lead is kept informed of relevant developments.
- Ensure that project folders and project data are up to date throughout a project’s lifecycle and that records are complete before project closure.
- Manage change history for all projects.
Financial Management:
- Create a P&L assessment for all projects and manage commercial viability discussions with sales and commercial leadership stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Team Lead and with support key finance group partners to complete post programme reconciliation and project evaluations. Implement findings in future projects.
- Work with internal product development and finance group partners to maintain and help control project
- Monitor project expenditure, anticipate and report variances when necessary.
Communication:
- Communicate with internal partners, suppliers and clients to ensure timely updates of all changes to protect scope, product specifications, dates and quantities.
- Highlight and work with key stakeholders to anticipate and resolve variances against the plan.
- Instigate and manage appropriate escalation of problems and issues.
- Be able to represent the company in support of long-term business or as part of a team in a new-business pitch.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills at all times.

Essential experience and skills required for position:
- 5 years of Project Management experience ideally in a product development environment.
- Excellent Polish and English
- Self-starter, must be able to work under own initiative or as part of a larger team.
- Solid knowledge of standard business applications, G Suite preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident and questioning nature combined with the ability to listen.
