We are looking for a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer, who will join the IT team working for newly created, full-scale commercial & consumer bank. Every bank account holder will have full access to our extensive API.  In this role, you will be helping the development team build out this API layer including integrations with 3rd-party software systems and supporting our mobile & web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Building out our API layer in Node.js / TypeScript
• Integrate with 3rd party software such as Finacle Core, Jumio KYC, and others
• Writing high-quality, clean and maintainable code for new features across the stack
• Communicating clearly, professionally, and consistently with your team and your client

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years in the JavaScript ecosystem, ideally some combination of React / Node.js / TypeScript
• Experience working with RDBMS Systems and SQL (Postgres)
• Experience working with AWS
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; you function well autonomously with drive and self-direction, but you’re also comfortable being part of a team and working in partnership with your engineering colleagues
• You are reliable, responsible, and passionate about what you do
