For one of our Clients – an international games company, we are now looking for a Head of Digital to join the team located in Gdańsk.

About the role & responsibility:

Reporting directly to the CCO and CEO of the business the Head of Digital will be responsible for the day to day management of the digital team and online sales channels & utilising owned IP, cultivate and execute business development opportunities in the mobile and online gaming sectors. The key responsibilities of this person will be:

  • Manage and execute Global best practice for Amazon across all operational territories using both Vendor and Seller tools
  • Digital marketing management for key online retail accounts including execution of key promotional campaigns and strategy & product listings
  • Business ownership for owned and operated UK & US eCommerce business units including marketing budgets, forecasting and spend
  • Responsible for identifying and executing digital extensions of owned intellectual properties or consumer facing mobile and web applications
  • Work in partnership with brands & licenses to develop, project manage and launch bespoke mobile applications utilising owned IP
  • Agency management for the execution of HTML5 games for key brands
  • Project manage online influencer partnerships to maximise sales of bespoke products
  • Develop, manage and execute digital marketing activity through all relevant digital channels including Google Adwords, social media, on-site marketing & email campaigns
  • Content development using WordPress to write articles, ensuring that content is accurate and links are active to maximise organic traffic on site
  • Manage relationships with key licensors to agree and activate marketing communications through licensors own consumer facing channels

Key Experience/skills:

  • Leadership experience of a digital function within a wider business
  • Strategic digital planning and execution across a range of channels
  • Experience selling FMCG through Amazon Vendor and Seller channels
  • Extensive eCommerce experience across a range of channels including Shopify & WordPress
  • Understanding of SEO functionality and tools to improve site positioning on Google, Yahoo & Bing
  • Execution of online advertising campaigns utilising Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager & Twitter Ads
  • Creative mindset to drive online campaigns for content led products
  • Proven track record of delivering projects from conception to launch
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Budget management and forecasting
  • Keen attention to detail
