For our intenrational client that develops and produces avionics and electronics systems, we are now looking for an Experienced Software Engineer (Linux) to join unit located in Gdańsk (remote job is possible).

The  job holder will join the company’s Software Engineering team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team members supporting multiple projects across Software Engineering organization.

 Responsibilities:

• Utilizing modern programming techniques, tools, languages and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems.
• Performing engineering activities including architecture design, requirements review, software development, integration and testing.
• Proactively contributing to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals
• Project estimation and planning.
• Influencing, innovating and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality, safety and reliability of products and services provided by the company.
• Collaborating proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations.
• Cultivating a positive staff culture, team motivation.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• English proficiency.

Desired Skills/Experience):

• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
• Experience in building custom Linux systems (Yocto, Bitbake etc.).
• Experience in low level Linux programming (kernel modules, device drivers etc.).
• Experience in debugging and analyzing Linux kernel operations.
• Experience in Linux OS administration.
• Experience in C/C++ programming language.
• Demonstrated design and system thinking skills.
