Our Client is looking for a temporary ERP system data migration specialist to help them to deliver effective business change by playing an integral role in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The data migration specialist will lead the migration of data from legacy systems to Dynamics and be responsible for ensuring that migrated data is effectively validated and reconciled. The role is part of the IT Operations implementation team and works in collaboration with the Operations and Finance Departments, closely with the project staff, and other teams and Partners as applicable.

Task and responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the ERP system implementation, migrate master data to the ERP system from other systems and external repositories
• Develop and maintain data integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components
• Write T-SQL code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements.
• Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions
• Coordinate directly with business users and business analyst to best understand and analyze business specifications
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration and migration errors
• Provide technical expertise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience as integrator/ business analyst/ SQL developer or similar role
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of software delivery processes and methodologies
• Experience in applications/system integration and master data migration
• Ability to influence and negotiate and build consensus with both internal and partner staff
• Very good communication skills
• A proactive approach with business focus and drive
• Fluent English both written and spoken

Following will be a significant advantage:

• Experience of implementing an enterprise software solution such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/NAV, Sage or similar is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS)
