Electrical Engineer - Gdańsk

For our client operating within maritime branch, delivering engineering services to major companies all around the world, we search for talented Electrical Engineers (junior-mid-senior level) to join Gdansk design office.

Your responsibilities:

Identification of design assumptions, formulation of problems and their solutions,
Preparation and processing of single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and block diagrams of the power distribution and control system,
Preparation of complete switchboards documentation including layouts, electrical diagrams, material lists,
Performing design calculations, e.g. power balance calculation, short circuit calculation, heat trace calculation,
Preparation of electrical bill of materials including power supply, control and measurement equipment,
Working in a 3D environment in the design of cable routes and equipment arrangement,
Acting as the first point of contact for the team, clients, and equipment suppliers in all arising topics,
Supervision over the implementation of the project on construction sites.

Our requirements:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electrical engineering (power engineering, control engineering or comparable),
Minimum 1 year – for junior position and 3 years for mid specialist of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering,
Good knowledge of spoken and written English (B2+),
Good knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical,
Knowledge of MS Office,
Responsibility and goal orientation with the ability to make key decisions,
Ability to solve problems and use unconventional solutions,
Ability to read and understand the electrical diagrams.
Knowledge of the shipbuilding industry and practical experience,
Knowledge of the rules of classification societies,
Knowledge of Ex-proof systems will be an advantage,
Knowledge of EPlan Electric P8 will be an advantage,
Creativity,
Commitment,
Teamwork skills will be highly appreciated,
Ability to organize the workplace.
