Business Development Manager – remote

For our Tricity client – IT company delivering solutions for the insurance industry, we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious candidate for a remote position of Business Development Manager.

You will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • building brand recognition on the financial market with strong focus on insurance sector by building strong relationships
  • building a sales & product strategy for IT project implementation services for the insurance industry
  • identifying partnership opportunities
  • developing new relationships in effort to grow business
  • tracking trends related to IT projects for the insurance industry, as well as sharing them with the company team
  • building a database of potential customers in Poland and abroad
  • preparation of materials for presentations, meetings and other forms of contact with potential clients (including a description of possible solutions, offers, contract proposals)
  • participation in fairs, trainings, industry conferences (Poland and abroad)
  • identifying customer needs and overseeing project delivery within the business context
  • running workshops with customers as well as negotiating offers and finalizing contracts
  • providing solid partnership to the management team

Desired skills & experience:

  • proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies
  • proven experience in selling IT software services
  • knowledge of insurance market and insurance products and processes
  • experience in working with foreign markets
  • experience in selling to enterprise level companies
  • proven track of closing deals
  • in-depth technical knowledge and ability to advise clients on technological strategies
  • strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
  • ready to work in an international environment with stakeholders from various areas
  • independence, business maturity, ability to organize one’s own work
  • excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
  • ready to cooperate with good English level
